Message So I was just watching an AOL CNN news update and watched a ~25 year old kid inventor put vegetable oil into a modified diesel engine and run a VW Jetta off of it! The announcer then cooked some bacon, took the grease, poured it into the heated gastank, and drove off. The engine is $750 and gets 50 miles per gallon.

I'm yet to hear of any downsides, but man I love the people out there that are trying for such helpful inventions. And this is szr because...well, because if it becomes popular, we can save cash from spending extra $$ on our daily driver's gas and put it towards carbon-fiber finishings for our Z's. ;)

-If it's not broken, lets take it apart and find out why not.

-My family's beater suburban is about to kick the bucket. Feel free to email me with any feedback on Yukons, Tahoes, and Jeep Grand Cherokees. Space and cost isn't as much of an issue as is quality of build and such. Car is used for Home Depot runs, snowboarding trips in the mountains, and hauling scuba gear. Thanks ;)
